Remediation Innovations
We are constantly modifying and enhancing our remedial capabilities through academic research, professional association with leading laboratories in the country and continuous uplifting of our staffs’ experience to new and conventional remedial technologies or a mixture thereof.

Our remedial philosophy is that one size does not fit all and off the shelf remedial solutions look better on the shelf.  Therefore, all of our remedial systems are designed and installed based on project-specific data, subsurface conditions and cleanup criteria.

We excel in providing cost-effective remedial systems and in getting our clients involved in their own projects.  Our systems are fully automated and remotely controlled by our own communication software.  We provide our clients with remote monitoring capabilities for them to see how their projects are being managed and operated by us. Our innovative remedial design and installation capabilities cover all areas of our services:

  • Conventional soil vapor and air sparging technologies.

  • Mixture of conventional technologies to shorten cleanup duration such as the successful coupling of soil vapor and groundwater recovery, we simply call it Vacuum Enhanced Recovery (VER).

  • Another combination example is the simultaneous use of Oxygen Releasing Compounds with Natural Bioremediation, known as Enhanced Natural Bioremediation (ENB).

  • Fluid Flooding and Flushing.  This combination of technologies consists of injection and recovery components to increase an induced hydraulic gradient, thus increasing the quality and rates of recovery, contaminant percentages and volume, respectively.

  • Bioremediation technology is an effective remedial technique given proper planning and application. Our approach is unique and scientifically sound, so we transformed that approach into workable protocols: Bio-Phase I® and Bio-Works®.

  • Solidification via chemical and/or physical immobilization.  Our professionals successfully immobilized PCB in soil and sludge and provided our client with substantial monetary savings.  Each solidification project is preceded with a site-specific Treatability Study conducted by a third party.

  • Alternate Recovery Mechanism (ARM).  This remedial technology was applied at some of our projects where the subsurface formation exhibited low permeability.  Site-specific alternate recovery mechanisms are designed, computer tested and simulated based on actual site subsurface conditions and data following pilot tests.

Wherever applicable, we provide our clients with fully automated Remotely Controlled Remedial System using telephone/radio lines and our own communication software.  Clients can elect to monitor the performance of their remedial systems on a daily basis from the comfort of their desktop.
