Jack has over 17 years of experience
in environmental, civil and geotechnical engineering. Experience includes
construction management, range hazard analysis, site investigations,
remediation programs, Brownfield Development, Risk Assessments, Remedial
Pilot Tests and feasibility studies, and remediation design and
implementation. Geotechnical engineering experience includes soil testing,
shallow and deep foundation, drainage design, slope stability analysis, and
Geosynthetic material applications. Jack’s involvement in the design and
construction of remediation systems includes groundwater pump and treat
systems with air stripping and carbon filtration, air sparging, SVE, hot air
injection, bioremediation, stabilization, physical separation, and free
product removal systems. He has extensive hands-on experience in conducting
groundwater modeling and in-situ groundwater testing, including pump and
slug tests. Mr. Yan has also managed hundreds of LUST and SPR projects and
obtained hundreds "No Further Remediation" letters from the IDEM and IEPA
