Non-Destructive Geophysical Techniques
This
one of our major strong suits, which entails the use of non-destructive
geophysical methods to detect subsurface plumes cost-effectively and in a
timely fashion. Accurate definition of any problem is a major part of its
solution. Our team successfully applied non-destructive geophysics as
follows:
Our professionals delineated waste limits at municipal and
hazardous waste landfill using non-intrusive geophysical techniques
-
Ground
Penetrating Radar surveys: These surveys ranged from shallow buried
utility line detection to deep geological formation scans at more than 120
ft. below ground surface.
-
Shallow Seismic Refraction
surveys to detect shallow faults and deep seated one (Blind Faults)
under major structures such as dam sites, bridges and airport runways.
-
To help our client in managing
their engineered structure we provided them with structural and
concrete scans. These scans were provided to a wide range of clients
from heavy industrial Fortune 500 companies to the local concrete cutting
service contractors.

In order to distinguish our team
from our competitors, we added a membrane interface probe (MIP) for
real-time detection of volatile organic compound in the subsurface soil
and groundwater. Our MIP system is equipped with adequate detectors to
screen for chlorinated solvents in addition to the regular single and
multiple chained volatiles.
